All I can say is WHY????? I hardly use my car, but when I do - this happens. Next time I'll walk. I've heard of L.A. traffic, but this is taking it to the most ridiculous level...

Haha! Seriously, I showed this one at tonight's Meet The Vloggers... I had forgotten it was in the same garage! :)

Yep, been there. I try to avoid The Grove the most in December. It gets pretty mad, as we saw on your video.

Growing up in Long Beach, I remember that sick trend of freeway shootings-- people so filled with Road Rage that they start shooting random people in other cars!!!
Don't miss it. Nope, don't miss it one little bit.

Juan: Yeah, the more I go to the Grove, the more I see how insane it is...
Schlomo: That was happening a couple of months ago here on the highways - I couldn't believe it. Yeah um, just a wee bit scary...

I remmeber being in LA during my internship. How to beat the traffic in LA? Get up at 4:00 a.m. and go home at 11:00 p.m.
Which is a regular work day for a P.A. so that was lucky.
I'm starting ti think that video ipods in the states during traffic, isn't such a crazy idea. But I prefer my bike and tram in Amsterdam as far as commuting goes.
Great vid Zadi!

one of the Fellini films, I think La Dolce Vita, (or was it 8 1/2, has a rendition of people plain stuck in their cars, going nowhere -- an apt metaphor for many of us these days.

Although I have seen some very cool videos from New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, I will say that it was nice to see one that made me feel like there are some definate advantages to living in Rolla, Missouri :) .. nice video

5 seconds into this, i KNEW it was the grove parking lot. it's SO frustrating! whoever engineered the traffic flow of that thing was definitely smoking crack on the job. it took me like half an hour just to PARK there 3 weeks ago. arkgjasdlkfjawefik. definite moments of profuse swearing. :)

Use of time in the car if of the utmost importance. Therefore turning wasted time into useful time is to one's advantage. For instance, most of my phone socializing takes place now enroute, and I find that many other do the same. Also there are the educational aspects. Books on tape and lectures are the perfect companions to heavy traffic. Last night I listened to a talk on Derrida's ideas about the intreptation of language. I didn't even notice the 18 wheeler I cut off on the transition route from the 405 to the #10 freeway, causing a huge smashup and killing several people. But alas, who pays attention to anything on the freeway.
