Live (almost) from San Diego Comic-Con

CLICK TO WATCH VIDEO.

The San Diego Comic-Con was crazy fun. Talk about kid in a candy store sensory overload. Total pop culture mayhem mashed with lots of GREAT and TALENTED independent comic book/graphic novel artists.

Here are a few that stood out for me:

Retributors and The 3 Geeks
The King
Bob The Angry Flower

Music: A Boy and his Blob 'Cyborg Blobby' by Mazedude.

Plus: The cherry on top was gettting to see Tenacious D Live in concert. Woohoo. No camera footage, but here are some nice photos for your pleasure...

oh, how i love the 'D!
first time i saw them was at the Bowery Ballroom i think, playing before Grandaddy. i pretended to be a music critic i knew was on the guest list, who left the line to get in.

  • Ha! That's funny. :) Yeah, they were amazing. Just so funny and they rocked really hard. It was hilarious when some guys next to me started singing along to " " her gently.

  • No I didn't :(

This is what happens when you leave from L.A. to San Diego in the late morning - you find out everyone and their mother is going to comic-con and they're all stuck in traffic with you. Then you miss all the good stuff. hmm >:/
