Well, that was beautiful.
Is it that nice out where you live?

wow. i can watch this over and over.
sheer visual poetry and beauty.
i hate to spoil the mystery, but
what'd you use to make the magic sparklies?
By Chuck Olsen, at 8:09 AM
Really nice.
So how did you do the sparkles?
By Steve Garfield, at 8:48 AM
Damn you and your consistant brilliance!

It is this nice where I live, and sometimes it's really horrible... depending on mood and memory.
I don't know... Inspiration catches you when you're just in the moment. I was really focused on the bird, then when it took flight, I saw the sparklies.
When I took the footage into my editing program, I was upset that it didn't pick up what I had witnessed. But when I slowed it down and took it into Motion I saw that they were there - just faint - so I enhanced them with the program's particle generator.
I realized I could show everyone exactly what I saw the way I saw it happen... And in my head, that's exactly what happened that day.

Whoa, That was a "holy moment" ala Linklater's Waking Life, thank you.

That was amazing. That quote is my new mantra.

Hi there! This is the artist whose music was used in this. Just wanted to give you the heads-up that the song is "My Piano Sings (Part 3)."
It's a beautiful video, btw.
By John, at 11:54 AM
Thanks. Yep - I'll add the "(Part 3)" to the song title.
By Zadi, at 11:56 AM
Thanks much. You also get a position on my blog. Aren't you special?
By John, at 12:04 PM

By Zadi, at 12:54 PM
Thanks a bunch! ;-)
Hope you send more people our way (and to the store), cause we're really hoping to prove the RIAA and music industry wrong.
But, you've done plenty already, so thank you!
